America's fittest couple

Love + Fitness = Happiness

Overcome the Modern Diet and Fitness Craze. Pursue a Sustainable Approach.

It’s not by chance that people today are confused about what to eat.   The diet and fitness industries purposefully create momentary “fads” –- be it carb-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, "Bulletproof Coffee," etc. –- to mislead the population.  If people weren’t unsure about how to eat, then these companies wouldn’t be able to sell a new diet each year, a new nutrition bar, a new workout program.

Yes, you need calories to work out hard.  So forget starving yourself and forget a carb-free regimen.  Eat some rice pasta, then head out for a workout.

It’s taken many years, but AFC has overcome this manipulation.  The Couple is proud to have crystalized a sustainable approach to living a healthy, happy, and fit life.  It's not complicated either.  (1) Eat healthy food.  (2) Follow through with proper workouts (that involve cardio and sweating).  (3) Be consistent.

The most important component in keeping fit is the quality of your workout.  Having consistent, thorough workouts each day will enable you to control your portions, feel your appetite, and burn off the calories coming into your body daily.  It’s only by expelling heat and sweating – primarily through cardiovascular output – that you can master your physicality.

Pursue a sustainable approach.  A salad of anchovies, radishes, tomato, avocado, roasted peppers, olives, and scallions -- with olive oil and crushed black pepper.  A plate of brown rice pasta with olive oil, pepper, sea salt, and chopped scallions.

Don’t fall victim to this “carb-free” gimmick.  You need carbs.  Carbohydrates – slow-releasing carbohydrates in the form of grains – should be the foundation of your diet.  75 percent of AFC's "fuel" is coming from rice (brown and black), rice pasta, kasha, steel-cut oats, and quinoa.  Combining these carbs with veggies and a portion of protein (you don't need to intake massive quantities of protein -- this perception was intentionally created to fuel the meat and nutritional supplement industries) – and then following through with tough workouts – AFC has been able to reach the best shape of their lives.

The carbs are working.

The carbs are working.

Don’t go through life hungry.  Eat to satiation (only healthy food, of course), and then go work out.  With enough persistence and consistency in your schedule, you can achieve some pretty impressive results.
